You guys get better by the episode, woops, I think I cribbed there.

But still what a show, brilliant, excellent, B&W too, excellent, a real screamer.

However a little too much theatrical licence, instead of showing the eating sequences with just Casey putting hand to mouth, maybe a pick-up between thumb and forefinger would have been better, this would have taken you that few extra minutes to render and take, but would have been so worth it.

Just my 2 cents(pence, euro) who knows

To be honest (and if by ‘always’, you mean ‘twice’), I was afraid that people would see a little Agent Smith in Andrew Farrow. I was trying for part Clark Gable, part Charleton Heston, with maybe a dash of Troy McClure… As for the ‘karaoke’, I’m glad you picked up on that! In re-watching, I kept thinking of New Kids’ “Hangin’ Tough”, and thinking I got it wrong…

Andy – hot? Well, certainly in the TEMPERATURE sense… notice the sheen? Those lights… they’re what I call HOT.

Casey – oh, go on…

dmouse – Agent Smith was a blast to do; close to one of my favorite moments in shooting Galacticast. There’s the toe-stubbing incident… now that’s breaking character. Oh, and burptastic. I was just so happy at the prospect of free beer!

One thing i would say, to add that extra bit of quality to it (and yes i know it costs money but if ya gonna go this way – as in make good productions with green screen, how about purchasing some lapel mics.

Editing was great, lots of effort gone into it i can see that. Clever use of background graphics to get casey climbing and stuff.

Still say the one where you had different characters was the best “my anderson, mr anderson, mr anderson” – still cracks me up everytime. Simple ideas like that really work for you lot as you gel into the roles really well.

“he’s lubed up he will be out anytime now” – great. :)

Do a behind the scenes of galaticast as well i think it will make the videocast/production more real if people can see the effort that goes it it.

Also. Add an email list signup on your frontpage, like feedblitz or something so as soon as you post people get emailed about it.

David- Thanks… we were originally thinking of Indian in the Cupboard and then a King Kong parody occured to us. Rudy’s always said he wanted to re-edit King Kong to make it faster paced… for this we made it REALLY fast paced!

Leo- Yeah, Rudy came up with the ending… I loved the idea too.

Steve- Ugh… special effects… I love them, but they’re the reason I don’t get much sleep anymore!

Tatti- Yes… Dave is an EXCELLENT actor… he keeps astonishing me with his performance every time. I couldn’t wait to show him the finished product!

JeanPhi- a) He was ACTUALLY channeling the acting skills of Charlton Heston for a lot of it ;) . b) yes… I’m relieved too! c) Yes, Dave’s “We Will Rock You!” bit was hilarious to us too! He’s great at adlibbing. d) Mack Sennett? Oh JeanPhi, you know so much…
As for the whole Phallic idea of Queen Kong and her tiny human love… it occured to me a couple of days ago and has haunted me ever since… yegh! I think it would end up with Andrew Farrow needing scuba gear.

CarL- Thanks man! Rudy’s always wanted to re-edit Peter Jackson’s version to make it faster paced… instead we just remade it the way we would have wanted it!
