  1. Great episode guys! Every monday is a suprise for me. Do you make a report about vloggies? Who was the winner of the best vlog vote? I hope it was you (or the Ninja).
    Keep up the good work!

  2. I lose so many pens that way. Always use protection, folks. Another great episode — and CONGRATS on winning 5 VLOGGIES!

PS – The zebra print blanket is hot. Frack yes!

  3. WTF was that speech by Rudy? :D

  4. My favorite thing to do with my monolith is to use him as a chalkboard. For Halloween I drew a brick wall pattern on him and we went as “the Improv”.

  5. Rudy, Casey congrats on the awards! Not sure why you didn’t win more, but hey, I guess five is okay…:)

And congrats on that pen gag…Dave, your timing is dead on. Damn that was funny.

And brem, Rudy’s speech is from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Hence the closing bit and Moon River at the end. Oh Moon River, is there no anger that you can’t diffuse?

    Congrats again all!

  7. another great show, congrads on the Vloggies. However I must say the true star of the show was the monolith, I hope to see more of it!

  8. I want to hook some monoliths up and create my own intergalactic computer network. I will provide superfast space bandwith. Nova Broadband.

I think iPod nanos are mini monoliths. It kind of scares me.

  9. When Dave first appeared on screen I thought he was Kevin Rose.

What the frack is a monolith?!?! *GOOGLING*

  12. Andy- It’s a big phallic symbol, just like many of the things in in 2001: A Space Odyssey. You should check it out… GREAT film.

    - Casey, November 7th, 2006
  13. First – There is nothing hotter than voyeuristic Monolith sex.

Second – Rudy…”more Jewish?” Do I really sound like that?

    Oy vey.

  14. what kind of protection would one use against getting a monolith? The lads in 2001 had space suits on, didn’t do them much good ;-) I love it, love the monolith, can’t get enough of the monolith.

  15. Dalek and Monolith should be bunkmates. Imagine Dalek on the lower bunk with Monolith on the top bunk in a small bedroom. It’s late and Dalek can’t sleep.

Dalek: Hey. Hey, Monolith. Are you asleep?
    Monolith: Aiieeooooiiieeeeeoo
Dalek: Hey, have you ever, like, though about life and stuff?
    Monolith: Aieeeooooooooeeei
Dalek: Yeah, that makes alot of sense. Thanks, Monolith, you’re the best!
    Monolith: AieeeooeoeoeooeZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
    Dalek: *Snicker* Good night, Monolith.

    - Charlie, November 10th, 2006

    - rc, November 11th, 2006
  21. Now see… if only it were that easy to get rid of those pesky Monoliths.

Hilarious episode guys, I was cracking up the minute the Monolith was at the foot of the bed.

  22. Scifilicious…

What do you get if you cross two movies I watched this year, Breakfast at Tiffany’s (thanks Jill!) and err… 2001: A Space Odyssey? You get this.

And that’s not even my favourite of the Galacticast episodes.

While I’m linking to scifi linkie…

  23. i was only researching the word “scifilicious” (on google) and then i discovered this little movie. you all did a very great job! i had to grin all the time- not at least in view of your nice histrionic performance (especially from casey and dave!).
what a “cute” kind of cyberpet- but i think it´s better not to want one ;) .
i´ll come back to see more…
