  1. I love that Randy Jackson is Jabba. And where the heck did some of these songs come from? is there footage of rudy actually singing more than that one note?

  4. Like the alternative Ash would say in Evil Dead III : “Axolotl !”
Did you know that we French had to endure the emptiness of a french version of American Idol called “A la recherche de la nouvelle star” (like a dumbed version of Indiana Jones !) ?
My congratulations to the costumes designer coz the Casey’s dress is quite appealing and the Vader’s outfit is a threat for Halloween !
    See ya

  7. Wow!! Cool show, cool revamped look, cool wiki… Guess you guys are the coolest!

Since we are “your only hope”, we’ll try not to let you down. :)

  8. Nice show!

(What about My Dearly Departed? It has dissapeared! I don’t like when things dissapear… :/ )

  10. Last week was empty, no galacticast, no nothing. It’s good that you’re back. This was a great episode. Casey: You make an adorable gay hobbit and a Princess Leia impersonator. :)

jeanphi: We in Hungary also suffered the show. Here was called The MegaStar (dumb name, isn’t it?).

    - Ignác, October 9th, 2006
  11. Nice show! That ending was too funny! Love the new look of the site too! The clips wouldn’t play before and I had to download them. Now all works perfectly.

So I don’t get this whole wiki thing. Just what is it?

  12. Great episode once again. Kind of remindes me of the “Anyone could be a cylon” show. I would have liked to hear some more of Rudi’s singing then again it might have been a reasonable decision not to include more than that one tone in the show – just kiddin ;) The site design looks good, too. Now I’ll go check out that wiki thing.

  13. Josh- I can’t tell you where the songs come from… I’d rather keep it a bit like trivia for Star Wars fans. I guess you’ll just have to re-watch the original trilogy to figure it out :P FYI: Rudy did not sing more than one note…

CarLBanks- I almost signed up to try out for Canadian Idol earlier this year, but didn’t. Our friend Dave (aka. Han Solo) did, though… but he was too cool to get in ;)

Dooka- You know what they say… “Do. There is no try”

JeanPhi- Glad you liked our costumes… Rudy was quite fond of me in that top but couldn’t see much through his Vader mask :D BTW: We’re planning a French episode soon… so stay tuned.

Steve- Vader may have been chilling, but Rudy sure wasn’t… he was sweating bullets under that thing. Mask ventilation = very bad.

    W.O.- Thanks!

Leonardo- You’re the best! Sorry there wasn’t much on the wiki on the first day, we were really busy traveling and trying to get the new site design up. I’ve updated the wiki now with more stuff (behind the scenes videos, music, episode guide with trivia, etc.). Enjoy!

Sebastian- Thanks for pointing out the problem, I fixed it as soon as I read your comment. I totally appreciate it.

Rick- Thanks man… even though you and Rudy are major competitors at VlogDeathMatch.com you are still enough a sportsman to come here and support us. If Galacticast had it’s own League of Awesomeness, you’d be on it.

Ignac- Sorry for the wait, man… I’m so glad you liked this episode though. I always look forward to your comments!

Terrance- We love YOU man! Unfortunately, we may have to go back to offering a format choice before watching the show (but you’ll still have the choice to watch the Flash version). As for the wiki… what don’t you get? The reason we did it is because we get all these wonderful comments from awesome people and we want to promote more dialogue. Talking to our audience is priceless to us ;)

    - Casey, October 10th, 2006
  14. Thanks Casey!

The wiki page is cool! Loved the behind the scene videos. I hope there will be more!

    - Ignac, October 10th, 2006
  15. Great show. as a star wars geek i was pretty astonished how close the performance was of the original ewok celebration song. Kudos. You all kick ass.

    ps
great time meeting you guys in california.

    - Charlie, October 10th, 2006
  16. I love the new layout guys! :D

If only I could force choke almost every other rapper, I’d be such a happy girl. *swoon*

Ahh absolutely priceless, now to tinker with the wiki! :3

    And in closing:

  17. I have wanted to darth vader death grip everyone on american/pop idol contestant. I h8 the damn show. Utter tv effluent.

    Great episode dawgs.

p.s. I knew darth vader was a coke man.

p.s.s. – Casey does Rudy have the Princess Leia fantasy like the guys in that episode of friends? lol.

    - Steven, October 10th, 2006
  18. Best episode yet; thanks.

    - dmelliott, October 11th, 2006
  19. Tatti- If you want to hear more of Rudy singing… Check out this video. Rudy is a karaoke god… and by that I mean that he is so bad that he’s awesome!

Ignac- There will definitely be more… and we will also be adding greenscreen videos for people to play around with! We just didn’t have time to add it before we launched.

Charlie- Em actually studied the Ewok song before we filmed… she didn’t know the song before she sang it, but she couldn’t stop singing it after wards. We’ve got some awesome outtakes of her singing that we’ll post on the Wiki soon. Awesome meeting you too… hope to see you at the Vloggies in San Francisco!

Calamity- I’m glad you love the new layout! We’ve been really excited about it for some time and we felt that a lot of our other links (blog, about, etc.) were being neglected because no one really saw the links at the bottom of the page… now, y’all can enjoy the site a bit more. I’ve been tinkering with the wiki too… I’ve been adding trivia and information about some of our more notable videos. I like trivia…

Steven- In the script, Darth Vader was a water bottle man… but since we had no water bottles, we had to use Coke. It worked especially well because American Idol is sponsored by Coke!

dmelliott- Thanks! We’ve got another Star Wars-related episode coming next month… we just have to order a costume before we can shoot it.

    - Casey, October 11th, 2006
  20. Guess what, I also started playing with the wiki! I hope I’ve done so in a manner you guys like. I added one of my favorite scenes of “You Might Be a Cylon!” to the episode guide. :3

    - Calamity, October 11th, 2006
  21. Awesome, Calamity! That’s exactly what we want… we’ll add the scripts, music and videos ourselves, but we want you guys to contribute by adding your favorite quotes, show ideas and even your own scripts if you feel like starting something! If anyone adds something to the wiki that we use on the show (like scripts or video footage for future collaborations) we’ll credit them on the show.

Thanks for playing on the wiki… we’ll have more fun stuff coming soon.

    - Casey, October 11th, 2006
  22. Hey! The episode was hilarious! I too almost tried out for Idol but they cut the line off 50 peeps in front of me. My heart was broken, but not for long as it was really cold & rainy out that day. Jaba as Randy cracked me up :)

I’m also intrigured by this Wiki thing! Sounds spiffy! :)

  23. I SO could have won this, with the new belly dance routine I have developed. It is a travesty that I didn’t know about this. I’ve got to start remembering to check to pan gallactic bulletin board.

    - Richard, October 13th, 2006
  24. Loved how Han was so dismissive of Leia. Funny stuff.

You all are part of our dawgpound, dawgs. Even your robo-dawgs. You know, like K-9.

By the way, that’s one sexy wiki you have there, Casey.

…You’ve got a pretty nice wiki yourself there Rudy. Don’t be jealous.

    Matthew

  25. Okay, you know that I really like you guys. After all, you’re Canadian, I’m Canadian. You live in Montréal; I lived in Montréal. You’re really nice people, I’m …, well never mind.

Anyway, the superlatives fail me. Funniest parody of Star Wars since Hardware Wars (1977) and Spaceballs (1987). As Mel Brooks said, “May the farce be with you!”

    - Irish Hermit, October 13th, 2006
  26. That was is absolutely my new favorite! Brilliant!

    - David Meade, October 15th, 2006
  27. I think I’ve spent too much time on Dagobah…I totally missed this. Great new format. Loved the show! Off to check out the wiki

  29. I always have terrible trouble with comment-related plugins that require me to put some line in the comment loop; I can never seem to find the right spot. Can anyone tell me where I should put the php line in my comments loop? I haven not modified anything much, and I would be very grateful. Thanks!
