  10. Need one of these kits for my wife… leave out the Lover’s Edition.

“I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.”

    - Jarod, February 19th, 2007
  11. I loved it! Pouty Em is so adorable. :3

Far too many scenes left me in stitches so it’s hard to give one the title of ‘favorite’, though both the weaponry and tribble abortion sections are the closest.
I would buy the kit solely for that wonderful cover! I love my sci-fi pulpy, especially with robots. :P

    - Calamity, February 19th, 2007
  12. my teeth look crazy

    - Emily, February 19th, 2007
  13. Hi!

Great ep guys! Where can I order one of those?
Oh, I suppose no real tribles were injured during the proudction.
Emily be calm, your teeth fine, and you’re very lovely.

    - Ignac, February 19th, 2007
  14. Hi my name is Micki and I’m sci-fi challenged.

    - Mickipedia, February 19th, 2007

    - Joe, February 19th, 2007
  16. [...] Best. Galacticast. ever. [...]

  17. Ok the self inflicted phaser ricochet to the forehead was laugh out loud funny. Haven’t laughed that hard in a while, not sure why that pushed my button but you hit the mark for me on that one.

    - Tom Boucher, February 19th, 2007
  18. I am a man of my word. Sponsored!!!

You all shoulda seen me turn red after that personal appeal. How could I keep procrastinating after that? Great episode, I can actually relate. I haven’t yet watched the new Galactica, Firefly/Serenity, etc. I was more into sci-fi back in school but haven’t kept up.

    - Bothan, February 19th, 2007
  19. P.S. I do, however, own a few seasons of Babylon 5, which I don’t think you’ve ever parodied…?

    - Bothan, February 19th, 2007
  20. Great episode guys were are the kits made?

    - coolgal, February 19th, 2007
  21. I think the politically correct term would be “sci-fi capable”.

Other candidates for the “Lover’s edition”:

    “Indy, throw me the whip!”
“They look like giant seed pods!”
“She went from suck to blow!”
    “My precccioussss”
(and of course)”Kneel before Zod!”(oatmeal vomit optional)

    - WrightBrain, February 19th, 2007
  22. all hail ds9 references!

    - paolo., February 20th, 2007
  23. you guys never cease to amaze me. That was a great episode. Emily rocks! And nothing like seeing Rudy in drag.

    - Clintus, February 20th, 2007
  24. Okay – the weaponry scene is absolutely hilarious. Outstanding work :)

I’m definitely in the Em fan club as well!

As an aside, you really should be selling a “SciFi Challenged DVD Set” I’d buy a galacitcast sci-fi bundle, and I’m sure you could find some classics fairly cheap and brand them as galactikit courses.

    - Eric Skiff, February 20th, 2007
  25. Funniest moment – TRIBBLE ABORTIONS!

    - Michael Tyas, February 20th, 2007
  26. galacticast always rules and Emily, she’s fantastic

    - Cuoredifango, February 20th, 2007
  27. Ok the Tribble abortions was just wrong! Loved it.

I had a friend of mine that was convinced that Baltar (James Callis) was played by the same actor that played Dr. Bashir (Alexander Siddig) Took me days to convince him otherwise So that joke made me spit beer.

    Great job guys.

    - Right Rev Chumley, February 20th, 2007
  28. Chumley- Both James Callis and Alexander Siddig are equally sexy to me…

    - Casey, February 20th, 2007
  29. I think they pulled James Callis,Alexander Siddig and Jason Alexander out of the same cool sexy dude mold somewhere.

Again, great episode all, and a special congrats to Emily for a great job.

    - Right Rev Chumley, February 20th, 2007
  30. Durr I meant Jason Carter. Jason Alexander? hehe

    - The Right Rev Chumley, February 20th, 2007
  31. Jason Alexander did go by the name “Buck Naked” on “Sinfeld”.

    - WrightBrain, February 20th, 2007
  32. Awesome!

    - Steven, February 20th, 2007
  33. Hi Casey, Rudy, Emily and Dave

Are there any good SCI-FI novels you like?

Also are there any SCI-FI novels you would like to made into a movie.

    -Cheers

    - Steven, February 20th, 2007
  34. I thought I was the only sci fi challenged person out there. I felt so alone….so cold…so very very cold. Thank goodness for this episode to make me realize its not to late to learn! See you all at SXSW!

    Tony

    - Tony Katz, February 21st, 2007
  35. More Balter jokes! More!

    - Sean Cameron, February 22nd, 2007
  36. Baltar does look kinda like Bashir. Ron Moore actually talked about it on the BSG blog way back in Jan ’05:

    http://blog.scifi.com/battlestar/archives/2005/01/

Have your browser find “Callis” on the page. How many nerd points does that get me?

Favorite moment: the phaser deflecting off the lightsaber. I’d always wondered what would happen.

    - Tim, February 23rd, 2007
  37. I am sci-fi challenged and proud!

Rudy in the blonde wig = priceless. Sizzle!

    - Amanda, February 24th, 2007
