Hey, you guys looked and sounded great! Did the show have cameras in your apt. when you were shooting that ep or did you guys provide them with B-roll?
Thanks, Steve! Yeah, if you watch Possessive again you’ll notice that Rudy has a wireless mic on his collar during some of the bedroom scenes. There was a crew of 2 cameramen at our place when we were shooting and they were really interested in what we do… it was fun.
Steve- The scene when Rudy shows Em and Dave into our bedroom… there he’s wearing a wireless mic for Global TV. It’s cool… they apparently OWN the wireless frequency in Montreal! (For all I know they do this in Hollywood all the time… still, it’s cool to me!)
You guys are great on television. You looked and sounded fantastic!
How freaking early did you have to get up for that - or was it pre-taped?
Finaly get to see it. Nice interview, You guys came off very relaxed and cool.
However a Fathers greatest nighmare his daughter in a bedroom with four men another woman and three cameras… Idea… A Nit pikers guide to Galacticast?? Spot the mic. how many times was this prop used? Trivia: In episode 23 there was a continuity error Rudys beard was clearly 2mm of stubble in the first sceen and then in the next sceen it was clean shaven, the next sceen it was at 3.5mm .Ha I was going to try a drinking game but laughing beer through your nose is not fun…or is it??
That’s awesome that she came onto the show! I wonder if she’ll be back, she was great!
Great job on the interview. Looked like you were both very relaxed and had fun. Gelareh did wonderful on Bar Wars. Hope she stays in touch, and possibly does another episode.
DarkOpera- It’s quite a story, actually… we slept about 2 hours because we were working until late and then we were told to be at the studio at 8:10am because our interview was to be live at 8:40am. Well… as I was putting on make up around 7:50am getting ready to leave, the studio called to ask us where we were. Apparently, their production crew and their planning crew didn’t inform us that they had pushed UP the interview time and we were pushed up to be live on TV at 8am!!! They told us to get there ASAP, but there was a snowstorm and it was hard to drive and find parking. We literally arrived, walked into the studio and got interviewed… badda bing, badda boom. It was nuts.
Bladehoonslayer- I constantly wish we screw up… I love continuity trivia, but Rudy is a perfectionist and wants everything to be seamless… dammit!
Michael- Thanks! I don’t know if she’d be back… when we filmed her segment we also had a second film crew recording her. She mostly did it for This Morning Live, so I’m not sure she’d want to do free Galacticast acting again. Who knows…
Brian- Gelareh was great… I’d love to have her back, she makes a perfect Galacticast actress… cheesy and over the top!
