  9. Zadi, stop trying to get Rudy to LA when you know he needs the tallest buildings to leap. Rudy, we need your help here in Metropolis!

Hooray for internet shows, this was awesome. Much better twist at the end than the one on Razor last week – we all saw BSG’s ending coming a mile away, but yours had me jumping right up off the sofa.

    - Tim, November 29th, 2007
  10. YAAAY new episode!

  17. First, the Zod gasp was dead on perfect. It may be Pavlovian, but when the music comes up, I got the same goosebumps I got when I saw Superman II at age 11.

Thanks, it was a great episode.

    - JIm Brayton, November 29th, 2007

  20. Nice use of Zod in the beginning. It seemed like every line he said was exactly what I was thinking, especially the “is this part of a sketch?” comment. Very well done.

    - Rassilon, November 29th, 2007
  21. Zod dam it I’m I missing something here??? Casey gone?? Rudy all on his own?? What the Frak!!!This could be the final straw that sends me up the bell tower with my BFG.
Say it aint so…The worlds fate hangs in the balance.
This could be the most scary episode ever.

    - Bladehoonslayer, November 29th, 2007
  22. All you people trying to lure Rudy away… he knows his destiny lies in DC with us. I’ll be your hot co-star, Rudy. And I’ll TOTALLY kneel before Zod!

    - Clarence, November 29th, 2007
  24. Nice! Just when I had a primo Galacticast script damn near ready to submit to your wiki, you two go and call it quits!

You couldn’t have stuck it out just ONE more week, could you?

You know, it’s we children who suffer…

    - Chris Burdick, November 29th, 2007
  25. Loves the SuperRudy.

    - Jarod, November 29th, 2007
  26. Unlike Chuck and Drew, I was sort of hoping that Zod and Supes WOULD make out. That might be a chick-thing.

    - missb, November 29th, 2007
  27. Best Galacticast I’ve seen in a long time. Keep it up Rudy, we know you can do it!

    - Rick Rey, November 30th, 2007
  28. Dude, you are the shizzle… well mostly it’s Zod, but you know what I mean.

Fucking awesome new chapter in what I have faith will prove to be the next great phase of Galacticast. I am still chuckling at the neck breaking part. Dude.

    - Vu Bui, November 30th, 2007
  29. Wow thanks for all responses everyone. It means so much to me at this very confusing time. Keep watching, new episode in a week and a half, probably followed by another one a week after. We’ll break for X-Mas, then rock in the new year with season 3 :-P

    - Rudy, November 30th, 2007
  30. This is devastating news. Now I’ll have to watch two vlogs instead of one to catch the output of Rudy and Casey’s careers. Excellent they’ve been, and I look forward to the new co-host(s), and to Casey’s next project.

    - IanN, November 30th, 2007
  31. Keep your head up, Rudy. This episode is proof that your talent can stand alone.

    - Amanda, November 30th, 2007
  32. Zod is Great!, You need to put him in every skit, or do a skit where he keep’s crashing the set.

  35. Great episode as always, Rudy. Keep ‘em comin’.

    - Aram, December 1st, 2007
  36. Okay. So, I’m a huge dork, but I love this episode so much that I was thinking about it while Sara and I were riding the bus into the city today, and literally said to her “I think the moment when Rudy stands up may be the best moment in videoblogging, ever.”

There’s something about that glint in your eye – it’s a great shift, and some pretty damn good acting.

Congrats on an excellent episode, and I’ll echo what others have said above – more Zod (and more Clarke) please! Very funny stuff.

    - Eric Skiff, December 1st, 2007
  37. Drunk zod could fun?!?!?, Well We all know What I was doing when I typed that!

    - nimble2, December 2nd, 2007
  39. Holy shit! This is truly my favorite Galcticast episode ever. Sincerely. Perfect comedic timing, enormously uplifting and hilariously funny simultaneously. I’m so happy to see you rise above it all with such a class act. You’re the shizzle and the bomb and so hawt! I agree with Eric above – when you stood up = one of the best moments in videoblogging. Standing ovation.

    - Cheryl, December 3rd, 2007
  40. GREAT job Rudy! Good on ya for keeping the dream alive and better than ever.

  42. OMZ.Great Episode. Do not listen to those folks trying to get you to DC or San Fran. Sounds like Skiff has Drunk Zod plans and I can help with that. NY all the way.
