  1. Ahhh. Bathroom humour. Loved the Wrap around hands bit.

    - Bladehoonslayer, December 4th, 2006
  2. The trouble with dictators like Zod is, not only do they have no follow up plans for what to do after they take over, they have lousy pension plans for their minions.

    - Irish Hermit, December 4th, 2006
  3. I am continually impressed by the creativity and production values in the Galacticast episodes. You guys do an incredible job.

But Casey – was this your way of subtly flirting with Zadi? Sorry – that’s the first thing I thought of!

    - Carl Weaver, December 4th, 2006
  4. That was amazing. The “I spy,” bit was hilarious.

    - Joe Murphy, December 4th, 2006
  5. Rudy makes a good Zod.

    - Jarod, December 4th, 2006
  6. Haha! You should tell Ursa that I can try to hook that up! ;) I love the Superman episodes.

    - Steve Woolf, December 4th, 2006
  7. Zar-Dee??? Zadi!!! Eh???

    Best episode ever…

    - Lan Bui, December 4th, 2006

    - Philip Campbell, December 4th, 2006
  9. Another great episode! I love when Dave (Non) starts playing with his “disembodied” hands… Hilarious!

    ~Andrew (Sandman5)

    - Sandman, December 4th, 2006
  10. Oh, sweet sweet fart jokes. When have you been funnier? And Zod is apparently just as much of a dick as Superman. I can’t wait til they meet.

    - Jeff, December 4th, 2006
  11. Rudy’s Superman is Iconic. I agree – he and Zod MUST MEET.

    - Dave, December 4th, 2006
  12. Great stuff Guys! Dave you make such lovely dumb character!

    Ignac

    - Ignac, December 4th, 2006
  13. Who’s your Jor-EL!? Impressive effects, something makes vomit much funnier when its trapped in a 3×2 spinning dimension.

    - Andrew C, December 4th, 2006
  14. Oh my gawd!!!! Poor Rudy!! Hahahahahahhahahahaha. You guys are out of this world! (Pun intended)

I just wanna see what Zod’s gonna do after he escapes… maybe go to anger management therapy???

    Keep it up guys! :D

    - Leonardo, December 4th, 2006
  15. Oh, so funny. Love it.

    - Enric, December 4th, 2006

    - Adam, December 4th, 2006

    - Garner Haines, December 4th, 2006
  18. I made it on the show! Thanks for letting me contribute. Amazing special effects as usual. I don’t know how they do it — but I love them for it.

    - rick rey, December 4th, 2006
  19. Great episode and I liked seeing all the vloggers in there at the beginning.

    - steve garfield, December 4th, 2006
  20. Can never go wrong with time tested scatalogical humor. Hilarious guys.

    - Ubidubium, December 4th, 2006
  21. Bladehoonslayer- Yeah… I think this qualifies as the Galacticast episode with the most toilet humour!

Irish Hermit- With a crappy pension like that, it’s no wonder Ursa doesn’t want to have anything to do with him.

Carl Weaver- It’s funny because when Rudy fed me that line in filming I was so excited to say it because I DO love Zadi!

Joe Murphy- We had fun bobbing our heads back and forth during the I Spy part… Dave is so good at playing idiots (remember Neo?).

Jarod- Does he EVER! I’ve asked him to keep the beard full time when we don’t need to trim or shave it for a certain role… so I hope to get him to do more Zod in the future.

Steve Woolfe- Ursa would like very much to meet this companion of yours named Zadi. She has heard great things…

Lan Bui- Is it the best episode because you’re in it?! Hehehe… thanks so much for helping us out, bro.

Philip Campbell- I don’t know man, she’s got a pretty weak stomach… so unless you’re into being puked on, I would just worship her from afar. KNEEL BEFORE URSA!

Sandman- I’m glad you could see what was going on with Non discovering the physics inside the Phantom Zone… we considered changing the background from black to make it more apparent, but decided to stay with the original black background.

Jeff- Zod is definitely as much a dick as Superman… Who knows what will happen in the new year…

Dave- Don’t worry man, we all agree… Superman and Zod must indeed meet.

Ignac- Hehehe! Dave, you really do. In fact, we have lots of cool bonus footage and outtakes with Dave to show during the holidays. Bryan is also good at playing dumb!

Andrew C- The “who’s your Jor’El” line came out by mistake and then it stuck so we kept it… Ursa is too powerful a woman to treat Non with the respect of a leader.

Leonardo- DUDE! You know what happens when they escape! Go watch Superman II! Hehehe…

Enric- And we love you. Thanks for helping us out. Your head was the most dynamic shot that I received… I really adore the second angle you sent us, so creepy!

Adam- Zod DOES rule. Terrence Stamp is the best!

Garner- Just as long as Superman II makes more sense to you now… that’s what counts!

Rick- You’re there! You’re there! Thanks for contributing, we love you too.

Steve Garfield- Yeah, those Vloggers all agreed to send stuff last minute… they are all AWESOME! Lan sent a video showing how he set up the background and everything, it was cute to see Bonny hold up the black sheet in the background… love it.

    - Casey, December 4th, 2006
  22. Ubidubium- Just you wait… someday we’ll unite the jocks and nerds of the world… they will all hold hands and giggle in harmoney as they watch Galacticast sci-fi fart jokes. :P

    - Casey, December 4th, 2006
  23. Hey, you guys rock so freakin’ hard. This made me smile. Thanks for the jolt. I needed that. :) )

PS: I HAVE been called Zod in the past – very, very odd. Or is it?

    - Zadi, December 4th, 2006
  24. COOL! More dumb Dave (no offense I just like dumb characters like the fat guy in My name is Earl)!!

    - Ignac, December 4th, 2006
  25. There’s something i don’t get : did you, Canadians, decided tom embrace the “american” tradition of Thanksgiving when you joined the NAFTA ? I was wondering because of all the spare mashed potatoes left from the last one used as SFX for all the puking moments… Please, enlight me ! ! By the way, this episode reminds me an old Mad Magazine issue from the time SUPERMAN II was released. When the three evil Kryptonians are sentenced to a huge amount of centuries in the phantom dimension, one of them sighed :”At last, we managed to avoid life sentence…” I still find that line funny…

    - jeanphi, December 4th, 2006
  26. LOL! That was great. Although, the constant spinning made me almost want to barf! VERY nice ending! :)

    - Andy Melton, December 4th, 2006
  27. Loved your recent podcast. Always good to hear from those Kryptonian super villains. Nothing worse than cutting cheese in a tight enclosed space.
    Eew!

    - Mike Crawford, December 4th, 2006
  28. Oh dear GOD, this is too funny.

You guys are getting so much better with each episode.

    - Dany, December 4th, 2006
  29. Zadi- KNEEL BEFORE ZADI!!! I’m glad we could make you smile… it’s a very pretty smile, indeed.

Ignac- I prefer Earl… been a Jason Lee fan since Mallrats in ’95. Jason Lee is the reason I have forgiven Kevin Smith for casting Alanis Morrissette as God. :P

JeanPhi- Actually, Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving about a month and a half before Americans… and the barf mixture on Zod’s face is actually Oatmeal! It works great…

Andy- I felt ill while we were filming… making fake barf sounds didn’t help!

Mike- Yes, lest we forget those Kryptonian super villains! When I spoke to my mother on the phone today, my mother told me that she and my dad didn’t actually remember Zod, Ursa and Non! :(

Dany- Note to self: Write more fart jokes to amuse Dany. ;)

    - Casey, December 4th, 2006
  30. Hmmm. “Kneel before Zod”, or “Neal before Zod”? Sounds like another show for Sci-Fi Pride.

I guess the thing that really pissed the Phantom Zone criminals off, was that after they escaped, Donner was replaced as director. DAMN YOU JOR-EL!!!!

    - WrightBrain, December 4th, 2006
  31. that has to be my favorite episode, you all did amazing work I really loved watching Non move his hands about the phantom zone and the Who’s your Jor’el joke was great.

    - Heiko, December 5th, 2006
  32. I lost it the minute we saw the first closeup of Rudy as Zod. My mind is officially blown.

    - David, December 5th, 2006
  33. Note too self … never get sentenced to eternal life imprisonment floating around the universe with these guys … nice video!

    - richard, December 5th, 2006

  35. What a great episode to come back to! Sorry for my lack of comments,Christmas season means that I unfortunately work a whole lot more. :(

    I may not be Zadi, but I am Calam-i-tee and also a 36C. >_>

Yeah I’m really reaching with that one but you haven’t had to deal with me being a punkass for a few weeks now. :P You do look simply divine Ursa’s makeup though dear, definitely looks fabulous around the eyes.

My birthday is also in a little over a week (bext Friday), so I’ll definitely be able to comment at that week’s new episode because I have the day off. :3 I’ll do my best to keep up with you folks, work permitting.

    - Calamity, December 6th, 2006
  36. Very funny guys, great special effects, I feel like everyone else has already said everything I want to say but I thought this was a great episode, and I really liked the costumes and makeup in this one, good use of it to highlight and create shadows, especialy you Casey your’s really drew in your face to give it that “angled” look….very nicely done……

    - Heath aka The Batman Geek, December 6th, 2006
  37. Casey: Didn’t Jason Lee played in Comic strip too?
Oh and nice hair! 80′s was the best!

    - Ignac, December 6th, 2006
  38. That was great :)

    - daniel, December 7th, 2006
  41. Costumes and the bit with Non’s Hands were great. Funny thing is when the episode started I thought for sure it was going to be a “My Name is Zod” spoof.

    - rc, December 9th, 2006
  42. No wonder he is pissed at Jor-El

    - Steven, December 11th, 2006
  43. Hey! This was great. I had to show this to the Superman super-fan at work and he loved it too! I always thought that that tumbling window looking thing was the cheapest looking effect in the whole Superman series, great spoof on it.

    - bill streeter, December 13th, 2006
  44. Hey guys, just found your video podcast last week and caught up on everything all the way back to…May 06…

Thanks for using Jolson’s ‘You Made Me Love You’ at the end of Superman I.V, I’m quite a fan of Al Jolson…I know, it’s weird, but hey…whatever…

Great job, and keep the episodes coming…I’ll being going through withdrawal now for a while…

    - Phil Randoph, December 19th, 2006
